This system is a video broadcast system that we developed for one of the major Internet operators in China. The system has adapted the latest Internet video techniques. And integrated with both outstanding television programs from both China and oversea, it has provided end users and a clear and smooth audio visual experience as well as rich, fresh, and genuine in the video contents.

The system works between the PC client and the Internet operator end, and on the following three main activities: user authorizing, product purchasing and charging, product authorizing.

The system is built on J2EE and supports distributed deployment and dynamic expansions. The main functions of this system include,

User Management:

The user management component consists of administrator management and end user management. The administrator management enables creating different administrative roles, assigning these roles to each administrator account, query for end user profile and sign in logs, administrator logs and product pricing logs.

Product Pricing:

The product pricing system allows defining different prices for a single product based on geographic locations of end users. And there are two types of pricing options: single unit prices and package prices. And with automatic renewal supported, there are also multiple payment types, including per periodic, per day, per month, per 30 days, per year and customized types.

Ordering Logs:

Users of the system can look up their ordering history logs filtered by a multiple choice of conditions, such as order id, time, product name, user information etc.

Renewal Management:

The administrator can review all automatic product renewal orders, and manually process the failed ones as necessary.

Account Checking:

The account checking includes summary and detailed checking sheets, also with query functions.

Account Settlement:

The account settlement component works on a monthly basis, and can calculate by date, by geographic locations such as city or provinces and by product.
